are a few general, frequently asked questions about Alex
and his Psychomagic.

Why
should we hire you and how do we know if you're any good?
Difficult to answer unless you have seen me perform. I am
a full-time entertainer so that means it’s my job
to make sure your guests are having a good time. Your guests
may have seen a magician before but usually this is a cheesy
caricature of a performer and often less than satisfying.
What I offer is something different, contemporary, and almost
certain to create a buzz of excitement. But don't take my

Where
are you based?
I'm based in Newmarket, Suffolk but travel all over the
country to perform.
Are
you Psychic?
The short answer is no.
Are
you a Member of the Magic Circle?
No, but being a member of this prestigious club does not
automatically beget being any good! I am however a member
of Equity and of the British Society of Mystery Entertainers.
Do
you have Public Liability Insurance?
Yes.
Can I learn/can you teach
me how to do what you do?
In performance, I have been known to teach a spectator to
seemingly read another persons mind but it’s not something
I offer as a service.
I am currently writing a book which will describe various
techniques and skills that I use. These are skills that
I think you will find useful in your day to day life; such
as improving your memory, reading people, how tell if someone
is lieing, persuasive language and improving your memory.

Can
we use you to get some publicity?
Absolutely! Having a ‘psychological mind reader’
at any event is bound to create an interest. I am also able
to offer publicity stunts to gain the interest of the press
and public. Contact me to discuss
your ideas.
Do
you perform at children’s parties?
No. Psychomagic isn't tailored for children: it is entertainment
for adults. Many young adults enjoy it and take an interest,
but it's not designed to cater for anyone under fourteen.
How much?
The big question – and the answer is, there is no
fixed cost. Prices are based on a number of different factors
(date, location, length and type of performance etc.) so
each event is treated separately and a quote is calculated
based on your individual requirements. Contact
