The reason for this is simple psychology. If I were to say to you, "Don't think of a pink elephant", what do you do? You think of a pink elephant. This is an example of ironic processing and parlty, auto-suggetion because the words 'think of a pink elephant' are in the sentence.

It is this kind of psychological trickery that I exploit in my performances and in my day to day life on unsuspecting members of the public. Muwaha ha ha ha haaa.
